HiAP Innovation Bootcamp
Health in All Policies (HiAP) was a cross-sectoral public policy approach that systematically took into account the health implications of decisions, sought synergies, and aimed to avoid harmful health impacts in order to improve population health and reduce inequalities. The HiAP Innovation Bootcamp aimed to promote the implementation of HiAP in the development of social innovations through six online capacity-building sessions held from September 8 to October 20, 2023. The bootcamp engaged 70 participants from 35 Civil Society Organizations and government officials in Indonesia who had developed social innovations to address issues related to Sexual Health, Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Nutrition.
Objective
The objective was to strengthen the capacity of Civil Society Organizations in applying the HiAP approach to address key public health challenges through social innovation, and to connect selected innovators with donor partners for potential collaboration and support.
